2. Website visits

When you visit this website, the web server automatically processes server log data (IP address, date/time, requested file, browser type) to deliver the website and ensure security. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). Log data is deleted after 14 days at the latest.

3. Cookies

This website does not set any cookies and does not store any data in your browser's local storage.

To statistically evaluate the use of this website, we use the web analytics service Matomo, which we host ourselves on the server sonar.netalytics.de; the data is not passed on to third parties. Our Matomo setup is cookieless: no cookies are set and no data is stored in your browser's local storage. Matomo processes, among other things, the pages viewed, time of access, referrer and browser and device type; your IP address is shortened (anonymised) before it is stored, so that it cannot be traced back to you. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in statistically evaluating and improving our website). You can object to this at any time by enabling the "Do Not Track" setting in your browser; Matomo will then not record your visit.

4. Enquiry form and customer due diligence

When you send us an enquiry via a form, we process your details (company, contact person, e-mail address, phone number, message) to handle your enquiry and prepare a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The enquiry is stored in our access-protected customer system; by e-mail we only receive a notification.

Before concluding a contract, we are required by the German Anti-Money Laundering Act (GwG) to identify our customers. For this purpose we process the information from our client questionnaire, copies of identity documents, the commercial register excerpt or trade registration, and details of beneficial owners (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with Sections 10 et seq. GwG). To perform the contract we also process your billing data. If you sign contract documents electronically, we store your signature together with the time, IP address and browser identifier as evidence (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

5. Map (OpenStreetMap)

The "Building" page embeds a map by OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, UK). When the map loads, your IP address is transmitted to OSMF servers. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

6. Retention

Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are deleted no later than six months after processing is completed. Identification records under the Anti-Money Laundering Act are retained for five years after the end of the business relationship (Section 8(4) GwG). Invoices and accounting records are retained for eight years, other business records for up to ten years (Section 147 German Fiscal Code). Other data is deleted once its purpose no longer applies.

7. Your rights

You have the rights of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). Consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; the authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Ansbach, Germany.

8. Data security

Your data is transmitted using TLS encryption. Enquiries and documents are stored in an access-protected system outside the publicly accessible area; uploaded documents are additionally encrypted. Only the owner has access.
